Our Jeff Gordon

Jeff Gordon is a NASCAR driver. Lots of people identify with Jeff Gordon and/or NASCAR and post videos of Jeff Gordon on youtube. JEFF&GORDON is an artistic collaboration between Jeff Foye and Gordon Winiemko. The work of JEFF&GORDON examines the relationship of identity to social customs and cultural idioms. For this project, we are taking Jeff Gordon videos off youtube and altering them to include our presence, in a different way for each video. We then put the videos back on youtube – same length, same title. etc. The first batch of these videos was featured in our solo exhibition "Used with Deceit."
